Is this you?
I want to plan for my upcoming surgery so I am in the best shape I can be but don't want to attend classes
I feel vulnerable and limited after a physical life change. I welcome help with customised movement based on my needs and abilities.

Let's get to know each other in a FREE 20 minute call first and see exactly what you need. This is an important step to prepare a practice plan to suit your lifestyle and requirements. We are all unique.
1:1
Sessions are 1 hour and can be in person or virtual.
In-person sessions can be arranged at a neutral spot such as a cafe, can be outdoors using walk and talk or (for van-lifers) can be as a van meet (budget option - "Cabin Chat" is a special deal for a cuppa and chat at a festival).
"Loneliness check-in" - a half hour online chat and chance to "offload" concerns or share news without specific coaching, just gentle goal setting and accountability.
What we will do
Discovery:
- Initial self assessment and professional assessment
- Current life situation mapping
Vision/Planning:
- Looking at the future: goal setting
- Identifying specific activities/movement
Preparing for one or have had one? You will get treated by a surgeon and possibly a physiotherapist. However, many people don't see their physio after the first day post op! (I can signpost you to one should you need one).As for the mental recovery, who is there for us? I am! Not only do I have many years of coaching experience, but I have received a total hip replacement myself.
I work with people recovering from all kinds of life changes, but hip replacements are something I'm helping more people withthan ever.Whether you are preparing for a change in your physical self or recovering, I can help - even if you haven't exercised or moved your body in a long time.
I know how it feels to:
* worry about the surgery
* feel embarrassed to use a walking aid
* wonder how to navigate future fitness
* consider how vanlife will work
* plan for a new way of life
